Commercial - Trim & Casework Carpentry Installation
Since its inception in 2009, Twin Cities Trimming (TCT) has successfully completed the trim and casework installation scope on dozens of commercial projects ranging from town-house communities to multi-family apartments and assisted livings. These commercial projects frequently vary dramatically from basic apartment unit cabinet and trim installation to elaborate common areas and community rooms with multiple layers of architectural molding and trim work integrated with cabinetry. With a background in high-end finish carpentry, even these more complex projects are no match for our skilled craftsmen. We look forward to the challenges that every new project provides.
Residential - Stairs, Railing and Trim Carpentry
Twin Cities Trimming has successfully performed nearly every imaginable style of architectural trim and millwork carpentry installation available, ranging from basic starter homes all the way to multi-million dollar custom home builds. We have been repeatedly selected as the favorite subcontractor on the job site. TCT has an impeccable reputation, having received over 30 five-star reviews online (and only five-star reviews!) Stair & Railing Carpentry Experts
Although we have the ability to competently complete entire trim/millwork scopes, our forte is stairs and railing installations. Twin Cities Trimming is one of the most regarded stairs specialists in the upper midwest. We use superior products and installation techniques that make for safe and rock-solid staircases and railings that will far outlast even the roughest of homeowners. Our years of experience mean we know the applicable state and local stairway codes better than even many city inspectors and we build our stairs accordingly.
Custom Projects
TCT has the ability to perform literally any form of interior woodwork installation project imaginable. To date, we have trimmed out interiors of custom live-in barns, built beautiful custom home theatre rooms with reclaimed Barnwood, and built custom wood gun rooms. We have experience working with live-edge wood slabs, ship-lap, reclaimed barn timbers, and reclaimed barn wood. If you can dream it, we can build it!
Retail - Installation & Interior Carpentry
For our Retail Projects, Twin Cities Trimming has experience performing fixture installations for many metro area auto dealerships including Porsche of Minneapolis, Audi of Minneapolis, Porsche of St. Paul, Hyundai of Mankato, and other dealerships all over the upper midwest. We have installed fixtures in many of the Macy's and Nordstrom department stores as well as many smaller mall outfits. We have installed the millwork scopes for several new banks in the metro area as well.
